Executive Headshots That Don’t Scream “Executive Headshot” are my Speciality

I love working with corporate clients. It gives me the chance to meet lots of amazing, interesting people. I pride myself on giving each company with whom I work a cohesive, branded look in their company photos while still making sure each executive feels like their photos represent who they are as individuals. 

One of my corporate clients, Ferguson, a national plumbing supply corporation based in Virginia, was looking for a photographer who could capture not only good images of their executives, but also images that were more personal and showed who they were as humans. They didn’t want a wall of boring executives, all in the same poses, smiling blankly at the camera. Not only that, but they also had an executive who had worked with no fewer than five photographers and wasn’t happy with any of her headshots.

After finding me through a Google search, they checked out my website and loved the executive branding shots there because each person looked relaxed and authentic and, most importantly, they said they could see each personality shining through in their photograph.

They hired me to take headshots for the executives. As always, I did my homework ahead of time and showed up with my amazing hair and makeup artist and stylist and my wardrobe stylist for the shoot. I took traditional headshots of everyone and some additional marketing images for a few of their executives.

I’ve done a few shoots for Ferguson and I love working with their people. They shared in the Google Review they wrote for me that the images I’ve produced for them have elicited lots of positive comments, both in-house and from their clients and customers. And that executive who hadn’t liked any of her previous headshots? I worked some magic and she was so thrilled with her photos that she ordered several extra poses to have for her professional use!
